Status Updates

Status updates are short and quick posts where I write an update on my current status. Statuses includes how I feel and what I’m doing at that moment. I like viewing these all at once in a timeline as a way to track my changing moods over time. All of my status updates (or at least the last 20) can be seen below. Newest updates are at the top with older updates as you scroll down.

    Status Update 007

    Today I feel so-so due to some health problems and some very stressful things going on right now. Still, I am trying to work through it all. Right now, I am working on some game reviews for this blog while Abbey has the zoomies.

    Status Update 006

    Today I reopened my heart and welcomed home my new long hair chihuahua, Abbey Rose. I still miss Aayla terribly, but thanks to Abbey I am also filled with joy and no longer feel alone.

    Status Update 005

    I'm still in mourning for Aayla. I've never felt a pain like this before. I keep looking for her and she's not here... and never will be again. The pain is more than emotional, it's a physical pain too that is making me feel ill. I am a shell of my former self.

    Aayla crossed the rainbow bridge today at 9am. I'll forever miss her.

    Status Update 003

    Aayla isn't feeling well today. She's acting strange and not eating. She just doesn't look right either. I'm so worried for my baby. I'll be taking her to the vet in the morning. For now, I'll try to lose myself in my art and video games before I can start crying.

    Status Update 002

    At the moment I am working on some new artworks (fan art, mostly) while Jojo plays on his play gym with some new foot toys and Aayla is snoozing by my feet. All in all, a good day so far.

    Status Update 001

    Currently working on some mods for The Sims 4, listening to my classic rock playlist, and feeling the wind come in through my window on the first 80-degree day of 2023. There will most likely be some strong storms later.
